The expansion program began and Citizens was the first bank to open a community office in Pine Township. Subsequently, Citizens opened an office in Zelienople in 1962, followed by Lyndora in 1963, Butler in 1965, Parker in 1969, Petrolia in 1974, Clearview Mall in Center Township in 1986, Chicora in 1989, Cranberry in 1991, and Moraine Pointe Plaza in 1994. In addition to serving the people of Butler and Allegheny County through a growing network of community offices, Citizens was the first Butler County-headquartered bank to establish a trust department in the community.
