Originally named the J & E Dambach Bank, Edward Dambach founded this private bank located on Main Street in Evansburg. Evansburg, which was an oil boomtown, was also supported by a railroad that served as a main link between Pittsburgh and Chicago. Edward Dambach brought with him S. J. Irvine, Sr., to operate the bank.
