Warren V. “Pete” Musser
A veteran of the technology and financial industries, Pete Musser has been a leading figure in the business world as both an entrepreneur and a chief executive for more than 50 years. His leadership and insight have been instrumental in guiding the launch and continued development of Epitome Systems.
Pete is perhaps best known for his role at Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. As the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer from 1953 until 2001, he facilitated the formation and success of many of today’s top Fortune companies, including QVC, Comcast, Novell, Inc. and more. Today, Pete continues to serve as Chairman Emeritus of Safeguard, and is also the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Musser Group, a financial consulting company. He also remains active on a number of corporate boards as a Director of Internet Capital Group, Inc., NutriSystem, Inc., Chairman of Telkonet, Inc. and Vice Chairman of Health Benefits Direct Corp.
Pete is a strong supporter of and contributor to the community at-large. He is a member of a variety of civic, educational, and charitable boards of directors, and serves as Vice President of Development for the Liberty Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Co-Chairman of The Eastern Technology Council, Chairman of Economics PA, and Vice Chairman of the National Center for the American Revolution.
Pete earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering at Lehigh University.
