SUZANNE M. HECHT
Suzanne M. Hecht is partner and co-founder of the law firm of Haney & Hecht, located in Villanova, Pennsylvania. Suzanne counsels and advises individual clients, families, and closely held businesses with respect to all aspects of estate and business planning and property transfer and disposition. Prior to forming Haney & Hecht in February 1998, Suzanne was a member of the Trusts and Estates Group of the Philadelphia office of Reed Smith Shaw & McClay.
In addition, Suzanne manages estate and trust administrations including preparation
and review of fiduciary income, inheritance and estate tax returns and preparation of
fiduciaries' accounts for audit.
Suzanne also represents clients in litigation matters before the Orphans' Court Division of the Court of Common Pleas and represents clients in tax controversies with various taxing authorities.
In 1999, Suzanne, along with partners, Michael Haney and Kevin Haney, formed 3 H
Software, LP. for the purpose of developing software and utilizing the internet for
estate planning applications.
Suzanne is a 1989 graduate of Villanova Law School and received her B.S. in
Accountancy, graduating cum laude, from Villanova University in 1986.
Suzanne lives in Newtown Square with her husband, Bob, and their children, Brian,
Alexandra and Caroline.
